( these belong to the town and should be turned in upon leaving the service.)
For any particular function, the uniform to be used will be posted at the Citadel on a board.
( as an example; at a Kings meeting no arms are to be carried into the castle , thus only shields will be carried inside, other arms may be carried outside. A uniform appearance is required.)
Duties of the Guard.
The Guard will escort, in formation , the Govenor, and his or her deligated officials.
We may serve as an Honor guard for important guests and digniteries, as the King , etc. upon visits to Vesper or town functions.
We may post two Honor guards at meetings.
We will also serve as a Marine force crewing the fleets ships for Naval assaults on pirates or at other sea borne activities. The Admiral being the ranking officer will always be in command of these efforts.
There is to be a bi-weekly drill to practice formations, marching, etc..
We intend to also have ocasional hunts, seach parties, and social gatherings, with or with out guests. > it is expected that after drills and other efforts, to have a social gathering at the local inn to splice the main brace, and maybe some food.
Combat drills for fun are an option note* Suggestions are welcome as are any complants are welcomed , but Must follow the chain of command.
Our banner is the standard of Vesper. The Lt Cmdr. is the personal guard for the Govenor. This is his appointed function. He or she will follow the Govenor, one step back on their right side. They will remain there until released as at social functions.
A list of all currant members will be given to the Govenor and the Treasurer.
Each member will be given a copy of the Vanguard manual.
