Title: VIRTUES of KNIGHTHOOD

JUSTICE:

A knight must always seek the path of truth and right. Temper the sword of justice with humanity and mercy.


LOYALTY:

A knight is known known for his unwavering commitment to his friends and family and his beliefs.


DEFENSE:

A knight must always defend his Nation, Family, and those he is loyal to, or has sworn loyalty to.


COURAGE:

A knight must never shrink from personal sacrifice in service to those he considers himself loyal to, or has sworn an oath of loyalty.


FAITH:

A knight must have firm resolve in these virtues and all ideals which are held dear, so as to bolster the spirit in time of need.


HUMILITY:

A knight myst speak of the valorous deeds and accomplishments of others. Never Boast of your own works.


LARGESSE:

Be merciful and generous in all maners to those you are loyal to, or have sworn an oath of loyalty to.


NOBILITY:

A knight must seek great stature of character amongst his peers, by upholding these virtues. The mark of nobility is perceived by others.


HONOR:

Show the utmost respect to all that you are loyal to, or have sworn loyalty to. Respect those that are beneath, or above you in station.


FRANCHISE:

With sincerity and within reason uphold these virtues in all aspects of your life. Be remembered for your virtuous character.


THE KNIGHTS CODE:

My Honor is my life.

I shall uphold the virtues of knighthood in word and deed.

I shall lend aid to those who require it.

I swear loyalty, and shall do naught but honor to the Order and my peers.

I shall conduct myself with reason and responsibility


REGARDING GRIFFONS

The Griffon is a fantastic beast that has the head and torso of an eagle and the hind quarters of a lion. The griffon symbolizes strength and intelligence.
