Title: Ye old Witchery

Author: Melisane

Ancient chant to the moon.

Moon woman old and wise,

Hair of silver,

pale gray eyes,

She rises high above the night,

Spinning spider silk of light,

Shining like a beacon bright,

To light the way for fairies flight.

Apple Enchantment

Pick your apple when the moon has waned three days, Breath upon it's green cheek and rub it with a scarlet cloth saying, "Fire sweet And fire red Warm the heart And turn the head"

Kiss the red half and put it in anothers hand. Who holds it shall weaken, Who eats it shall be yours.

Finding your Love

Ye will need one red candle and an incense mixture of:

2 ounces violets

2 ounces orris root

1 ounce lovage

1/2 ounce roseleaf

1 ounce rosemary

1/2 ounce rosepetal

1 ounce tonka bean

1/2 ounce lemon leaf

You will then need to bind some yarrow in a red flannel pouch.

Burn the incense and candle when the moon is full on Friday and chant

"Thou who art herb of venus tree,

Whose truest name is yarrow,

Now who is my true love to be,

Pray tell me on the morrow."

Put the pouch of yarrow beneath your pillow and you shall dream of your true love.
